When considering a martial arts school, its
important to understand the atmosphere of the school and the credentials of the
instructor.
Our school stands out because we believe in traditional teaching methods.
Although most students cannot “quit life” and become a Shaolin monk to
pursue the study of Kung Fu, we have preserved the family basis of the
traditional Kung Fu teachings and adapted it to the more modern world. Our
instructors take a sincere interest in each student and his or her behavior
outside the school’s walls. Shih-fu Preston conducts one or two school
visits for each student during the year, talking to the teachers and principals
about his students, as well as requiring each student to bring in his or her
report card throughout the school year. He also encourages parents to keep
him informed of any positive or negative behavior that they may be seeing.
We encourage the students and their families
to get to know their martial art brothers. We help foster this family
atmosphere by holding several events during the year that allows the families to
get to know each other.
We strive to make the martial arts
affordable for anyone expressing a sincere desire to learn the art. We
have reasonable fees, payable on a monthly basis.
It is the
combination of our school values and traditions coupled with our excellent
instructors that separates us from the competition.
