Welcome to Siu Lum Pai Chinese Boxing Academy - The House of Champions. Under the direction of Shifu Kevin Preston, we have provided quality martial arts instruction in the Harrisburg area since 1989. We offer group and private lessons in the traditional art of Hung Ga Kung Fu, Chi Gung and Self-Defense.
Our retail store offers martial arts supplies and equipment and Asian themed giftware. If we don't have what your looking for we can usually order it.
We are the supplier for custom built Iron Palm Training tables, Iron Dummies and custom made Hung Ga Jewelry.
Our Philosophy
Our School was built on the philosophy that hard work and good values can take you far in life. The Chinese characters for Kung Fu represent time and Energy. The basis of Kung Fu is that it takes time and energy to become proficient at anything. At our school we train the Mind and Body. More about our school.
Shifu Preston
Our Chief Instructor, Kevin
Preston, is an internationally recognized instructor. Students travel from Baltimore,
Philadelphia, and Germany to study with him. His teaching has drawn many
former martial art students to his school. These students have found a depth in Shih-fu
Preston’s teaching that they could not find with other instructors.
Shih-fu Preston is currently the East Coast Regional Director and a member of the Executive Board of the U.S. Chinese Kuoshu Federation. He traveled with the U.S. Kuoshu World Team to Taiwan in November of 1996 as an Assistant Coach. He is sought after as a tournament judge because of his expertise in the art of Kung Fu. He has been invited to judge and referee in tournaments throughout the U.S, Germany, Hungary, the UK and Brazil.
